With a cased bronze plaque (2" x 3") - obverse, a bust of Field-Marshal Lord Roberts in uniform; reverse engraved "H.G. Gibbons 1913".
The 5th (West Middlesex) V.R.C. was based at Regent's Park.
Henry Gibbons was born in 1860 and was a barrister's clerk; in the Census of 1901 he was living in Kensal Green and his son Harry G. Gibbons was a schoolboy aged 10.
With copy service record for W.W.1. - Harry George Gibbons was born on 30/7/90 and was a clerk living in Paddington before he enlisted in the R.M.A. on 12/11/17.
He was appointed a Gunner 2nd Class on 3/4/18 and served from then until 7/2/19 in France attached to 528th Siege Bty. R.G.A. He was discharged on 8/5/19.
