1914-15 Star (S-21662 Sgt., A.S.C.); B.W.M. & V.M. (S-21662 T./W.O.2., A.S.C.); Jubilee 1935 (unnamed); L.S.G.C. (G.V.R. 1st type) (S-980 S./Sgt., R.A.S.C.). Toned. Mtd as worn. With relating miniatures and a ribbon bar; and two passes as a Lieut. at H.Q. Eastern Command, Horse Guards, London (see above). Thomas Vincent Kane was born at Rawalpindi, India, on 12/12/88; he served in the ranks for 18 years 159 days, W.O.2. for 2 years 183 days, W.O.1. for 8 years 31 days. He was commissioned into the R.A.S.C. as Quartermaster - Lieut. 20/1/33, Capt. 20/1/39, Major 17/4/42, retired 22/3/48. He died in Sutton, London, on 16/1/70. He served in Egypt 9/7/15 to 18/3/16 and with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force 19/3/16 to 31/10/18 (Trio confirmed). On 8/2/15 he arrived in Liverpool from St. John's, Canada, a single soldier aged 26; and on 4/6/37 he arrived in London from Hong Kong on the S.S. 'Rajputana' with his wife and children.
