John Duncan Falconer was born in Dover on 15/7/77, son of John and Cecilia Falconer; in 1901 and 1911 he lived at Moray House, Maison Dieu Road, Dover, and was single; his father was a tailor and shopkeeper and the recipient worked in the family business.
He married Bessie Murch in Dover in 1914 and died on 16/6/40 at "Overlands", South Road, River, Dover. The family were prominent in local affairs and the recipient was on the board of the Dover and East Kent Building Society for 29 years.
